Medical mission trip update!

The medical mission team saw roughly 400 members from the community yesterday; and yet, we will continue to ramp up! Today and Saturday will be big days... In fact, just this Friday morning alone, the wonderful and hard-working triage team was up early before breakfast to get villagers into the medical queue, in which they’ve already lined up at least 300 people!

And to answer a question that many of you may have wondering; the experience at MCF has been great. It has educated us on their way of life and their culture; for one, community is huge in the Mully family and it's unity that brings accomplishment. A perfect example of this is the building on the left; it was built in a matter of 2-3 years with nothing other than concrete mix, tiles, and stone and nothing more than a team of men and women. With such relationships and unison, they work incredibly fast compared to how it is here in Canada!

Younger volunteers have also had the opportunity to do sports and crafts with the children in Kenya who are visiting MCF. This is the very start of the medical mission, and there will be lots more to come and for us to learn. You can see the photos below of what our days have been like in the MCF community!
